It is with excitement and enthusiasm that I return to the Geneseo Central School District as the Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Geneseo Central has a reputation of excellence, innovation and collaboration and it is my good fortune to again join this team.
In this role, I will be overseeing all aspects of pupil personnel and am committed to meeting the diverse needs (Academic, Social, Physical and Management) of students receiving special education services. Special education is individualized or group instruction, special services or programs, specifically designed for each child. Additionally, I will be supporting curriculum and instruction while working with principals, team leaders and other groups and committees to identify our instructional priorities with the focus of improving student achievement.
My teaching career began in Geneseo and this is where I spent eight years as an educator working with both middle and high school students as a special education teacher. Additionally, I spent five years as an Assistant Principal at Wayne Central. My most recent position was the elementary principal at Lincoln School in the Newark Central School District.
I look forward to continuing the introductions and extending the conversations needed to build on district’s focus on success for all students.
